Saturn is run entirely by volunteers and they
are needed to do the many different jobs that keep her afloat, on
the move and in the public eye.
We need crews to move her from one venue to the next and to assist
when we get a chance to do some horse-boating, the most satisfying
way to boat with Saturn.
We need enthusiastic presenters to show and explain the boat to the
public at events, on the towpath or at The Boat Museum.
We need even more enthusiastic presenters, with extra patience built
in, to work with the schools groups.
We need people who are happy to get down and dirty in a dry dock to
help keep Saturn watertight and looking beautiful.
We need fundraisers with lots of new ideas - Saturn's maintenance,
the hire of boat horses, insurance, etc is all paid for by any money
that we can raise in the course of our activities.
You don't have to be an expert, we can give you the necessary
training to help you do whichever activity you've chosen.
Above all working with the Saturn team is FUN!
