After a week of school visits, Saturn will be on public display at Trevor over the May Bank Holiday weekend, 23rd, 24th and 25th May. Saturn will be moored in the dock adjacent to the CRT Visitor Centre near the end of the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct. After nearly eight months in Ellesmere, SATURN is being prepared for a move up the canal to Trevor for a week of school visits. The plan is to leave Ellesmere on Thursday 14th May under tow from motor boat BEATTY. The boats should be going into the dock next to the CRT Trevor Visitor Centre first thing in the morning of Friday 15th May.

Normally at this time of year Saturn would be heading for the National Waterways Museum at Ellesmere Port to join the annual Historic Boat Gathering. This year Saturn is trapped on the 'Upper' Llangollen Canal because of the Whitchurch breach. So, instead we are taking a Saturn display stand to the Museum so we can be a part of this event in the 50th year since the opening of the Museum in 1976.
